Who am I? Now you know

Meet Patrick—a proud Florida native who grew up soaking in the sunshine and splashing in the turquoise waters of the Gulf Coast. In 2001, he swapped sandy beaches for the rolling hills of San Francisco and never looked back. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Cross-Cultural Studies from Dominican University of California and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. He’s also a graduate of Stanford Medicine’s prestigious DIVERSE (Developing Inclusive and Vocational Education and Resources for Success in Employment) Training Program and honoree Letter of Recognition from California State Representative Nancy Pelosi for his commitment to community service as an AmeriCorps Member.

Patrick’s career is a love letter to education and community. With over 15 years of teaching experience, he’s spent the last three crafting an innovative, community-focused transition program designed for neurodivergent adults. The program is all about blending life, vocational, and social skills with real-world experiences—and having fun while doing it! Patrick’s unique approach, which he fondly calls “rigidity busting,” uses playful and meaningful activities to help his mentees step out of their comfort zones, discover hidden possibilities, and build connections (both personal and professional) all from a foundation of safety and trust.

Patrick doesn’t just teach skills; he creates opportunities for adventure and exploration. Whether it’s discovering a hidden talent during a community outing or having a lighthearted laugh while practicing social skills, his sessions are anything but ordinary. Patrick believes growth happens best when you feel supported, celebrated, and thoughtfully challenged in ways that inspire confidence and curiosity..

When he’s not sparking those “aha!” moments with his mentees, Patrick loves surfing, capturing breathtaking landscapes through photography, mountain biking, gardening, and traveling with his family. He lives by the mantra: “Our ability to handle life’s challenges is a measure of our strength of character.” (Thanks, Les Brown!)

If you’re ready to build confidence, take on new challenges, and practice essential skills in real-world settings, Patrick’s mentorship offers the guidance and encouragement to help you succeed.Together, you’ll uncover strengths, explore possibilities, and create meaningful connections that inspire lasting growth.
